Iowa CityReady Mix, Inc. is currently looking for full-time Concrete Mixer Drivers to join our team. As we continue to expand our fleet, we have several positions available! We offer a competitive salary package, including time and a half after 8 hours in a day, safety bonuses for accident-free worked hours, and additional incentives throughout the year. We also provide 7 paid holidays, vacation after the first season, and retirement plans with an 8% match. Our health, dental, and vision insurance packages are affordable, with single premiums starting as low as $99 per month for all three (other options are also available) and a low deductible. Our health insurance is on the United Healthcare Choice Plus network, dental is Delta Dental, and vision is through Principal VSP.

Concrete Mixer CDL Truck Driver

Iowa City Ready Mix, Inc. is hiring full-time Concrete Mixer Drivers.  We are looking to fill a few seats we have left in our 2014 or newer Kenworth and Freightliner mixers. We have a new dry batch plant and indoor parking for all of our mixers. If you’re looking for a position that allows you to be home every night, stay within 45 minutes of the Iowa City area every day, socialize and build relationships with fellow drivers and contractors daily, then this company is your future. Driver Requirements

• Experience is recommended, but not required.
• Must have valid CDL, or Enter into a 2 Year Employment Agreement with us and 
  We will pay for your Class A/B License Certification and Training.
• Must be familiar with 8-Speed Manual Transmissions.
• Must present driving record from DMV for review.
• Must pass a preemployment drug/alcohol screening. 
• Must be physically fit to lift 50 lbs. above your shoulders and climb an 8’ ladder.
• Must have good communication skills and pay attention to details.
